Why choose counselling?

Most of us experience times in our lives when we feel low, worried or distressed. This could be because of specific difficulties, such as anxiety or bereavement, or it could be a general sense of feeling ‘down’, and being unsure as to the reason why.

Counselling offers the opportunity to explore these concerns in a confidential, non-judgemental setting, with someone who is trained to help. Talking through problems with someone who is really listening and trying to understand how it is for you, without judging you, can make a real difference. It can help relieve painful feelings, and give you an increased understanding of your situation, and can help you decide on your own way forward.
